Our private wine cellar management encompasses a wide range of services tailored to the individual needs of each collector:
WineDoor consultants offer their services and expertise to assist our private collectors with creating a buying strategy as well as creating and maintaining a valuation of the entire cellar for insurance purposes.
We have created a customizable, web based, wine cellar management solution to assist our private collectors in accessing information relating to their cellar inventory, location, value, and quantity.
WineDoor is partnered with an experienced cellar design builder, to deliver custom solutions tailored to your individual needs and requirements.
At WineDoor our primary service is locating and selling rare and collectible fine wines to our discerning clientele. We stock many of the most prestigious restaurants, retail stores, casinos and private collections with hard to find collectible wines. As a broker our responsibility to our clients is to locate what they need, whether or not we currently have it in inventory. With a vast network of collectors and merchants the world over, we can locate virtually any wine at any time, always at the best price relative to the current market conditions.
In order to offer our clients the highest quality and best selection of rare and collectible fine wines, WineDoor acquires a majority of its inventory through purchasing and/or consigning collectors’ private wine cellars. If you are interested in getting an appraisal or valuation of your private cellar for sale or consignment please contact info@winedoor.com.
As a service to our cellar management customers, WineDoor consultants track all of the rare and collectible wine offerings from each of the major wine auction houses. As part of this service we also identify lots that our clients may be interested in bidding on based on prior buying patterns or holes in their current collection. As an additional service, we value each lot, identifying maximum bids and routinely attend auctions to bid for our clients.
To prevent our wines from becoming ‘cooked’ in transit during the hotter months of the summer, we offer our clients free temporary storage in our temperature controlled warehouse in California upon purchase. Wines will be shipped in the fall to minimize risk of spoilage.
WineDoor routinely hosts both private and public wine tasting events to educate the public on the dynamics of wine and cheese tasting, grape varietals characteristics, identifying cheese, and differences between artisan wine and cheese making styles. Each event has a unique focus. Discussions focus on global/regional differences, top producers, wine styles, and cuisine.
In addition to events and seminars WineDoor maintains a comprehensive restaurant service staff training program designed to introduce and educate restaurant service staff on the basics of wine production and service.

Riedel Stemware is widely known as the leader in the industry in supplying the finest crystal glassware to the hospitality industry and private consumers. As Robert M. Parker, Jr., publisher of The Wine Advocate has noted: “The finest glasses for both technical and hedonistic purposes are those made by Riedel. The effect of these glasses on fine wine is profound. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference they make.”
